Patients are demonstrated the difference between Amagalm and Resin Fillings. Do you know the difference? Amagalm is a silver color filling that has Mercury. It is a harder material that does not expand when pressure
is applied and cosmetically is not to favorable. The Amagalm is the less expensive of the two. Resin
composite is likely to adhere the tooth together more than the Amagalm, but is not as strong. Cosmetically ideal for people
who interact with the public on a daily basis. The Resin is the more expensive of the two.
